Role
As BRR's Studio Manager, Hamish's primary role is to use his accumulated experience of creative design and production processes to ensure optimum efficiency and flexibility within the studio and thereby the best utilisation of clients' budgets.
Background
Getting the best out of creative processes and people takes special qualities and experience. Fortunately, Hamish understands the impulses that drive creative people in studio environments and the technologies and systems that best capture it.
Hamish's technical experience spans pre-press and production work, especially photo retouching for high-end FMCG packaging. He has worked on some of New Zealand's best known product brands including Griffin's, DB, Coca-Cola, Wattie's, and Pam's and traveled widely studying international trends.
More recently, Hamish has been involved in designing and implementing IT and other systems, standards and studio layouts to enhance workflow efficiency.
